With over 40 years of dedicated experience, I have had the privilege of performing over 18,000 complex cardiovascular procedures, including advanced heart valve replacements, minimally invasive heart bypass surgeries, and aortic aneurysm repairs. My extensive training, which includes international stints at esteemed institutions in Australia, has equipped me with advanced skills in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries. I take pride in having introduced pioneering techniques such as minimally invasive and thoracoscopic cardiac surgery to India.

I was honored to receive the prestigious “Medical Excellence in Cardiac Surgery” award from Harvard University International in 2008 and the “Harvard University International Award for Medical Excellence in India” in 2009. Additionally, I delivered the Dr. P.K. Sen Oration on “Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery,” reflecting my commitment to advancing the field through both clinical excellence and academic contributions.

Throughout my career, I have also contributed extensively to research, publishing over 95 papers and delivering lectures at national and international forums. My work in cardiac surgery continues to be driven by a commitment to innovation and patient care.
