Dr. Rahul Bhargava is a distinguished hematologist and the Principal Director & Chief of Hematology at Fortis, with over 17 years of specialized experience in hemato-oncology and bone marrow transplantation. Since initiating his career in stem cell transplantation at Medanta in 2010, he has successfully performed over 1,500 transplants, earning recognition as one of India’s foremost experts in this field.

Dr. Bhargava is dedicated to making stem cell treatment accessible, having established ten low-cost centers across India. His innovative vision culminated in the creation of an integrated center of excellence at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, focusing on pediatric hematology and stem cell transplants. He has also pioneered the use of stem cell transplants for multiple sclerosis, marking a significant milestone in Indian medicine.
