With over 30 years of dedicated experience in urology, I have been at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies into clinical practice. My pioneering work includes the introduction of Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate in India, a technique I began in 1998 to manage benign prostate enlargement. This innovation has significantly improved patient outcomes in this field.

I am also recognized for my early adoption of therapeutic flexible ureteroscopy in India, starting in 1999. This approach has revolutionized the management of urinary tract issues, offering patients a minimally invasive alternative with improved recovery times. Additionally, my expertise extends to novel surgical procedures such as laparoscopy-assisted PCNL for large calculi and laparoscopic repair of spontaneous bladder perforations.

My commitment to advancing urological care is reflected in my extensive research, with over 50 publications, including contributions to the renowned Campbell’s Textbook of Urology. I continuously strive to enhance surgical techniques and patient care through innovation and education.
