As the Chairman of the Institute of Gastrosciences at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, I am dedicated to advancing the field of gastroenterology through innovation and excellence. With over 35 years of experience, I have had the privilege of pioneering minimally invasive endoscopic techniques in India, including 3rd space endoscopy procedures like POEM, STER, and ARMS, as well as the country’s first Bariatric endoscopy program.

My commitment to patient care is reflected in my ongoing research and numerous contributions to the field, including over 90 published papers and chapters in prestigious textbooks. Being involved in international endoscopy workshops and serving on editorial boards, I strive to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and provide the highest standard of care to my patients.

I am honored to have received the Padmashri Award from the Government of India in 2013, a testament to the collective efforts of my team and the continuous pursuit of excellence in gastroenterology.
