Dr. Akhila Kumar Panda is a highly experienced neurologist with over 20 years of expertise in the field of neurology. He completed his MBBS from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Sambalpur, Odisha, and further pursued his MD in General Medicine from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur. Dr. Panda then obtained his DM in Neurology from the prestigious Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi University, where he was honored as the Best DM Student.

Dr. Panda has worked in renowned hospitals such as BLK Superspeciality Hospital, Tata Main Hospital, and AMRI Hospitals, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of various neurological disorders. His expertise spans across stroke treatment, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, headache management, and botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders.

Currently, he is the Director at NEUMED – The Center for Neurology in Bhubaneswar and the Senior Consultant & Head of Neurology at SUM Ultimate Medicare Hospital. With a rich academic background, Dr. Panda is an active member of several prestigious international neurology forums, including the American Academy of Neurology and the World Stroke Organization.
